The Charleston was born out of a vision to enhance a Prewar townhouse style triplex with wonderful bones and beautiful views of Century City. The building was reduced to studs, reinforced and then all systems were replaced using Viking suites, Windsor windows, 3/4 inch red oak floors, full A/C units with Nest thermostats, full bathrooms and various custom details and finishes throughout.
We wanted to make sure the integrity of the old building was kept, however, it needed to be functional and livable in today’s modern world. It was lovingly called the “Grand Dame” and in 2017 the project began to restore this 1937 building with lots of old-world charm into a beautiful 3 unit luxury apartment.
